Hello fellow yogis and Sisters of the Sea

I’m Juli Blanco: wife, mom, grandma, artist, yoga teacher, and woman of deep faith. I’m so honored to co-host this oceanfront retreat with my dear friend and fellow teacher, Tasha Karidis. Together, we welcome you to experience a soulful journey of rest, connection, and healing at Dillon Beach, CA.

Yoga found me nearly a decade ago during a difficult season in my life. After an injury and surgery in the same year—and a long battle with depression and anxiety—I turned to yoga as a gentle path toward physical recovery. I had no idea how deeply it would heal me from the inside out. One day in Savasana, tears welled up and I felt something shift—a quiet wholeness, a spark of life, and a deep awareness that I was being held by something greater. That was the beginning of my love story with yoga.

Since then, I've studied and taught for over 8 years, embracing slower, embodied practices that feel fluid and grounding—like Hatha, Yin, Bhakti, and even QiGong-inspired movement. I believe in moving as if we are water, attuning to the rhythm of nature and the wisdom within.

Hosting retreats is my way of creating sacred space—for you to reconnect with yourself, to slow down, and to receive the beauty and nourishment that Mother Nature offers so generously. There is something incredibly powerful about practicing yoga by the sea, surrounded by a supportive circle of women. It's a reminder of our strength, our softness, and our shared humanity.

I can’t wait to share this unforgettable experience with you—one rooted in presence, joy, and soulful connection.

I have taught yoga for 8 years. I am formally trained in:  200 hours TT Bhakti Yoga, by Stacey Whittingham and Gena Foreman. Yoga Anatomy by April Underwood Burmester, 300 hours TT Embodied Yoga by Karen Miscall Bannon, 6hrs TT  Yin Yoga by James Kapicka, 8hrs TT FireFlex Yoga by Shannon McQuaide & April Underwood Burmester.

Tasha Karidis

Hi beautiful soul

I’m Tasha Karidis, a mom, certified health and wellness coach, certified massage therapist, certified yoga teacher, and lover of all things nature and healing. I’m so honored to be co-hosting this special Sisters of the Sea Retreat alongside my dear friend Juli Blanco. We can’t wait to welcome you to the peaceful shores of Dillon Beach for a few nourishing days of connection, reflection, and soul-deep rest.

Wellness has been my life path for over two decades—shaped by both personal healing and professional training.

I’ve walked through my own health challenges, motherhood, and emotional lows like postpartum depression and PTSD, all of which have given me deep empathy and a heartfelt desire to support others. I truly believe that healing happens in layers, and it happens best in safe, supportive spaces—just like this retreat.Yoga has been a steady anchor for me over the years, especially the slower, inward practices like Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and mindful breathwork. My teaching style is gentle, intuitive, and nurturing—offering space for both release and renewal.

I’m also a certified massage therapist and wellness coach, and I bring all those tools to help women feel grounded, aligned, and connected to their inner light. I’m passionate about helping others reconnect with their bodies, slow down, and live from a place of wholeness.

My favorite place to reset and reconnect is by the sea—and that’s why I’m so excited for this retreat. There’s something about the ocean that reminds us who we are and why we’re here. When we step away from the noise and into nature, something softens. Something opens.

I’m so grateful to share this sacred time with you—to hold space, laugh, move, rest, and just be in community. If you’re craving connection, clarity, and a deeper relationship with yourself, I invite you to join us.

I’ve been guiding yoga for 8 years and bring a heartfelt, embodied approach to my teaching. My formal training includes 200hrs TT Bhakti Yoga with Stacey Whittingham and Gena Foreman, Yoga Anatomy with April Underwood Burmester, Embodied Yoga with Karen Miscall Bannon, 6hrs TT Yin Yoga with James Kapicka, and 30hrs TT Yoga Nidra from the Sivananda Ashram in Grass Valley. I’m currently expanding my wellness journey through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, where I’m working toward becoming a Board-Certified Health Coach.
